Electric Vehicle (EV) sales continue to rise, and with them the demand for safe, compliant EV chargepoint installations. The City & Guilds 2921-34 qualification supports qualified electricians to understand the technical requirements and practical considerations for installing EV charging equipment in domestic and small commercial environments.
This course is delivered in centre in collaboration with FastAmps to ensure you’re confident with the latest requirements for design, installation, inspection and certification of EV charging points.

What Is Involved In Studying This Course?
This qualification delivers the specialist knowledge and skills you need, including appropriate legislation, inspection and testing techniques, completing and issuing certificates or reports and understanding of results and measurements.
2391-52 Combined Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing: Intended for experienced electricians who have never gained formal qualifications in inspection and testing or who may wish to update and reaffirm their skills.
Assessment will be through a multiple-choice on-line test and a practical tasks.
What Careers Can This Lead To?
This qualification is intended for practicing electricians who want to expand their skills and knowledge in the area of Initial Verification and/or Periodic Inspection and continue their professional development.
On successful completion learners can also progress on to the City & Guilds Level 4 Award in the Design and Verification of Electrical Installations.
