Question of the Week – Giveaway Terms & Conditions
At Renew Elec Training, our Question of the Week is designed to encourage learning, discussion, and confidence across the electrical community. From time to time, we celebrate participation with small giveaways.
To keep things fair, transparent, and enjoyable for everyone, the following terms and conditions apply to all Question of the Week giveaways, unless otherwise stated.
1. Promoter
The promoter of this giveaway is Renew Elec Training.
2. Eligibility
Giveaways are open to individuals aged 18 years or over.
Unless otherwise stated, giveaways are open to UK residents only.
Employees of Renew Elec Training, associated trainers, and their immediate family members are excluded from entry.
3. How to Enter
Entry is made by responding to the Question of the Week on the relevant social media platform.
The method of entry (for example, commenting with an answer) will be clearly stated in each post.
Unless stated otherwise, one entry per person per platform will be counted.
Entries must be made within the time period specified on the post to be valid.
4. Correct Answers & Engagement
Where the giveaway is linked to a knowledge-based question, only correct answers will be eligible for the prize draw.
Engagement such as likes, shares, or follows may be encouraged but will not count as additional entries unless explicitly stated.
Renew Elec Training will determine what constitutes a correct answer, based on current standards, guidance, and the learning objective of the question.
In some cases, more than one phrasing or explanation may be accepted as correct if it demonstrates the required understanding.
5. Giveaway Period
Each giveaway will have a clearly stated opening and closing time.
Entries received after the closing time will not be counted.
6. Winner Selection
Winners will be selected at random from all valid, eligible entries unless otherwise stated.
The draw will take place within a reasonable timeframe after the closing date.
7. Winner Notification
Winners will be contacted via direct message on the platform they entered on, or via another method specified in the post.
Winners must respond within 7 days of being contacted.
If no response is received within this timeframe, Renew Elec Training reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
8. The Prize
Prize details will be clearly described in each giveaway post.
Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered unless stated otherwise.
Where prizes relate to training, booking or redemption time limits may apply and will be communicated to the winner.
9. Delivery of Prizes
Digital prizes will be issued electronically.
Physical prizes will be posted to a UK address provided by the winner.
Renew Elec Training is not responsible for delays or issues caused by incorrect contact or delivery details.
10. Platform Disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or TikTok.
11. General
Renew Elec Training reserves the right to amend or withdraw the giveaway at any time where necessary.
By entering, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
These terms are governed by English law.
